I have been fortunate enough to gotten to dine here twice. The food is incredible, and I can't recommend pairing it with wine enough. It all tastes fresh, unique, and rich. The play on flavor, presentation, and texture is very enjoyable. The service, even better. The staff are friendly, professional, and understanding. My second experience here, I left wondering "How close are they to getting a Michelin star?"
My experience at grove was such a delight. We arrived to Grand Rapids, later than planned and hungry. We wanted something healthy and hearty for a group of 3. We got there very late (I’m sure later than the staff would have liked), but Briana, Abby and the team treated us with such great care and intention. Even though they moved through the service quickly, we never felt rushed. In fact, we felt embraced.
What a fun and delicious dinner. We went here for our anniversary. We ordered the tasting for two. Everything we ordered was delicious! The service was outstanding, explaining every dish thoroughly. The bread was so light and tasty. We ordered the bluefin tuna crudo, sturgeon, grilled octopus, lamb, and the Mississippi pot roast. Had a carrot cake flavored dessert. All so unique in flavors! Definitely recommend coming here for a special dinner!
We had an amazing time at grove. We did the 150$ tasting option for 2 which is a great deal. One of my favorite meals I have had in GR. Will have to come back with more people to try the entire menu.
My lovely wife took me to Grove for my 60th Birthday on December 24, 2025. We ordered the Dinner Tasting for Two, and it was both superb and sublime. When we arrived and seated, the menu that was brought to me had a personalised "Happy 60th Birthday" printed directly on it, which was very thoughtful.
Phenomenal meal. At behest of the wait staff, we did two tasting menus for a group of four - essentially got to try all but a few dishes and they were all incredible.
Just had my first experience at grove this evening. My wife and I had the grove for 2, and we did not expect what was to come. We made our selections for food, and sat back and enjoyed a couple drinks. Soon, plates of food began coming out to us at what felt like perfect timing. The presentation of the food was beautiful, the wait staff presented and explained every dish thoroughly, and the flavors were INCREDIBLE. There are meals that are memorable, then there are meals that change the way you think about food. This meal was definitely the latter, and was a full experience rather than just a dinner. We will happily be back and excited to try more new and creative dishes. Excellent all around!
Phenomenal experience. My husband and I just went for the first time, and WOW! We decided to participate in their "grove for two" experience and it did not disappoint. I will be thinking about this food for awhile. Beautiful ambiance, great drinks, and our server was excellent. Will absolutely be coming back in the future for other special occasions. Highly recommend.
One of the best spots in Grand Rapids! We went to the Grove to celebrate a birthday and it did not disappoint! Great service and peaceful atmosphere. We had a stroller with us and the staff were able to accommodate our seating with room for the stroller. Each meal was throughly enjoyed and finished completely! We can’t wait to return for another meal!
